Royal Free Graphics and Video sites

Are you looking for to use in your projects?

When creating content it can be a minefield when it comes to sourcing photos and videos for use in your project.  When searching online you can not simply download an image or video without checking the licensing or copyright terms.  Content creators are uploading 300 hours of video content to Youtube every minute and are on the lookout for places they can get content to help tell their story.

There are two great resources for this called Pixabay and Pexels. 

Pixabay is a free stock photo and video website and app that helps designers, bloggers, and everyone who is looking for visuals to find great photos and videos that can be downloaded and used for free.  It has over 2 million photos and thousand of videos in its library.  

Crediting isn’t required, but linking back is encouraged as it allows image authors to gain exposure.  The website has a fantastic search that allows you to quickly find high-quality content.  You can also get illustrations and vectors.

The website is easy to use and you can create an account to keep track of your history and mark your favorite images.  Pixabay also offers an API service so developers can display Pixbay content on external platforms.
